So You Want to Learn Guitar?

Playing the guitar is no easy feat. Although they look simple, professionals have been known to show classy performances after one another.

Why should you find a guitar teacher?

YOU CAN LEARN FASTER.

I am not kidding when I say you can learn 500% faster than others who start out learning on their own.

Take a real life example; me. I took months before I could play simple chords. Note that I have not reached rhythmic strumming yet!

I had started out on the guitar tabs. Now, tabs are great. But, according to most great teachers like Justin from www.justinguitar.com, relying on tabs ONLY do not develop your real musical skills in guitar playing, for long term.

START ON GOOD HABITS

I have many bad habits. I wished I had taken private lessons back then. The so called "bad" habits now are hard to erase now. For few years now, I still have to deal with rhythmic patterns in strumming. The thing is, most students who have their perfect timing down can play well. That's because they took lessons.

TEACHERS ARE ABLE TO TELL YOUR BLINDSPOTS

We do not have a video recorder recording our lives. Maybe we could watch one in heaven later. A guitar teacher can comment and correct mistakes (that could form into bad habits in the long term!) for you immediately. Saving you time and energy from undoing all the bad habits later on.

Living in Melaka (or Malacca), I have known a few reliable guitar teachers. These are the people you can trust. With their levels of professionalism and skills (some are featured in FlyFM Campur Chart), you can trust them 100%.
